The Disability Rights Education and Defense Fund (DREDF) is a national law and policy center dedicated to protecting and advancing the civil rights of people with disabilities through legislation, litigation, advocacy, and technical assistance and the education and training of attorneys, advocates, persons with disabilities, and parents of children with disabilities. The group answers questions about the Americans With Disabilities Act, explains how to file a complaint, and provides dispute resolution.

The Learning Disabilities Association of America (LDA) is an organization of parents, professionals, and individuals with learning disabilities. It is the largest nonprofit volunteer organization advocating for individuals with learning disabilities, with nearly 300 state and local affiliates representing all 50 states and Puerto Rico. The group advocates for students and adults with learning disabilities and also provides educational materials and referrals to helpful programs and resources.
