Andrew Conrad,
Ph.D., Chief Scientific Officer of Laboratory Corporation of America
(LabCorp), Executive Director of Oncology and Pathology for DIANON/US LABS, and
Executive Head of Clinical Trials Services for Esoterix Clinical Trials, Inc.
He is also the Co-Founder and Chief Scientific Officer of LabCorp’s National
Genetics Institute. National
Genetics Institute (NGI) performs over three million PCR reactions per year and
is one of the largest genetics laboratories in the world. The primary focus of
Dr. Conrad's research has been on the effects and manifestations of chronic
viral illnesses as measured by the polymerase chain reaction (PCR). He also
conducts research on the role of gene expression in cancer and is the
Responsible Head for the FDA Product License for The UltraQual Assay, a Nucleic
Acid Test (NAT) for the detection of HIV-1, and HCV in plasma from large
numbers of donors. Dr. Conrad has more than eighty-five publications in
scientific and medical journals. Dr. Conrad
also serves as the Chief Scientific Officer of North Carolina Research Campus
(NCRC) in Kannapolis, North Carolina. He is a member of the Board of Directors
for Dole and Castle & Cooke. Dr. Conrad
founded the California Health and Longevity Institute (CHLI) where he serves as
the Laboratory Director. CHLI operates preventive and early detection medical
facilities at the new world-class wellness centers being built around the
United States in partnership with Dole, Wellpoint Inc. and the Four Seasons
Hotels. Dr. Conrad graduated
with a B.S. in Neurobiology and a Ph.D. in Cell Biology from the University of
California Los Angeles.
David L. Morgan II, Senior Vice President of US LABS and DIANON Systems
David Morgan was appointed Vice President and General Manager of US LABS in May 2006. As General Manager, he has been responsible for integrating US LABS and Esoterix Oncology into a superior service offering dedicated to comprehensive, high-quality, rapid-response cancer testing that is patient and customer-focused. Previously, he was the Vice President of Operations and General Manager for US LABS. While in this position he was instrumental in helping enhance the US LABS suite of virtual products and improve margins of select product lines. Mr Morgan joined US LABS in May 2001 bringing with him 15 years of management experience in operations and logistics. During his time with US LABS, he has been responsible for developing and managing various aspects of the operation including logistics, laboratory operations, finance, billing, sales, marketing, and client services. Prior to joining US LABS, he served in the United States Marine Corps attaining the rank of Lieutenant Colonel. While in the Marine Corps, he held various command positions within the Infantry and Reconnaissance fields. He received a B.S. from the University of Pittsburgh in Physiological Psychology and a M.S. in Administration from Central Michigan University.
Mojgan Manshadi, CLS (ASCP), Vice President and General Manager Oncology Laboratory Operations, Irvine California
Mojgan Manshadi, Vice President and General Manager of Laboratory Operations in Irvine, has twenty-five years of experience in the laboratory industry. Ms. Manshadi has held numerous positions: as a Clinical Laboratory Scientist (CLS) in the areas of Chemistry, Hematology and Special Chemistry at Daniel Freeman Hospital in Inglewood California; as a Senior CLS in RIA, Polypeptides, Oncology, Immunology, Serology, Coagulation and as Director of Quality and Regulatory Affairs at Quest Diagnostics, Nichols Institute. She has a background in Biology and Chemistry, and is certified by the American Society of Clinical Pathology (ASCP) and the California Clinical Laboratory Scientist (CLS) Board and is a Six Sigma Trained Black Belt. She began her career with US LABS in 2003 as the Director of Quality and Regulatory Affairs and established US LABS’ successful Quality and Regulatory Affairs program. Ms. Manshadi was promoted to Vice President of Quality for the entire Esoteric Business Division, where she standardized a universal quality program throughout the Division.
Ronald W. Thomason, MD ●

Dr. Thomason is
board-certified in anatomic and clinical pathology and hematology. He received his medical degree with highest
honors from the University of Tennessee Health Science Center School of
Medicine, Memphis, TN, in 1990.
Dr. Thomason completed a residency in anatomic and clinical pathology at
Wilford Hall United States Air Force Medical Center, San
Antonio, TX, and participated in a
hematopathology fellowship program directed by Dr. Peter Banks at the
University of Texas Health Science Center at San Antonio.
Kim Dickinson, MD • Medical Director - Irvine, CA
Dr Dickinson is
board-certified in anatomic and clinical pathology. She received her medical
degree from Hahnemann University in Philadelphia, Penn. She completed her
residency training and surgical pathology fellowship at Los Angeles
County-University of Southern California (LAC-USC). Dr Dickinson sits on the
board for the California Society of Pathologists and is an active member of the
College of American Pathology.
