Track Specimens
US LABS uses Federal Express as its primary overnight shipping service. We use the Ascent Carrier Management and Shipping System in conjunction with the FedEx webpage to track inbound and outbound service. For local accounts, US LABS employs a local courier service. Our local courier service is equipped with our PathTrak™ scanning device that can scan requisitions and specimen bar codes, ensuring strict accountability of all specimens.
- Requisitions have bar coded labels that are placed on specimens to ensure accountability once in the lab.
- As with our local courier system, US LABS employs an internal bar code tracking system that provides real time information about the status of tests.
