www.childrenswish.org Children’s Wish Foundation International is dedicated to bringing joy and hope to seriously ill children and their families by fulfilling special wishes. The foundation recognizes that there are countless ways to bring happiness to a seriously ill child: For one child, happiness may be a visit with the Pope; for another, a trip to Florida; and for a third, finally getting that cherished grand piano. Children’s Wish Foundation International also offers enrichment programs to promote a healthy environment for children as they are receiving treatment, encouraging a positive mental outlook that helps them deal with their disease. Program activities include bedside visits by entertainers, continued studies using a computer in a pediatric playroom, and special-needs camps with other children in similar situations.
